If love had a face, her name would be Paris

She is as magical as they all say, but even more special when your best of friend now calls her home. There really isn't any reason needed to visit Paris, other than because it IS Paris but in this case, my first mini European adventure called to the likes of visiting Jenny for her birthday.

Waking up at the crack of dawn, making my way to St Pancras station and catching my 8:03am (on the dot) train on platform 9 (not 9 and 3/4) was the start to my weekend of madness. To be honest, nothing too different that any other time spent with Jen back at home....except we were finally on the other side of the world like we've dreamed about for so long.

Chanel Une Promenade

Chanel are holding an amazing exhibition at Harrods, and of all days I don't bring my camera out, that was the day.

The installations were a showcase of the iconic brand, with a modern uptake, perspective, on their legendary pieces of merchandise - 2.55 bag, Chanel No.5 Parfum, Tweed Jacket etc.

Since I forgot my camera, I've borrowed a few from Park & Cube, with an exception of the last.

Week 5 in London

The best thing about living overseas is having friends that live only an hour away for visits. Week 5 in London: Jenny and Vanna come to play!

Our attempt to take a photo on the lions at Trafalgar Square:

Result: After 3 exhausting efforts to haul each of us onto the ledge (involving Paulie having to hoist me up and then rolling me like a log because of my lack of upper body strength), we realised that the Lion was too slippery to climb onto anyway. Story of my life........!!!

Love you girls, miss you already Banna! You left me with Jeng and Pavlova, feeding the ducks today lol xxxxxxxxxxxx

Mondays aren't so bad

When you get to spend them at Selfridges! The shopping in London is amazing. While chain stores rule the high roads, designer good are just as abundant. Even if they do cost a fortune, it is still just as satisfying to walk around and awe at all the luxe leather, gold hardware and silk masterpieces. It makes me wonder how the hell I was I always broke in Sydney when we seem to be so lacking in.....well so much, really.

Another great thing about London is that international magazines no longer cost a fortune. Hellooooooo Lula!

Yellow is my new fav colour. And yes that is fat Pavlich in the background.

And we're there

We've finally found a place.......I am so relieved....!!! We're located somewhere in Bayswater with access to four tube stations and the area is lovely. The only downfall is that the bathroom is the size of my ass and we will have to lug up 7 pieces of luggage up about 6 flight of stairs.....but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Hehehehehehehehehehehehe
